Express your Interest to Volunteer at RIDBC in 2020

Job No: RIDBC474
Location: All locations

Express your interest to volunteer with RIDBC.

Thank you for enquiring about volunteering at RIDBC, we value our volunteers and couldn't do it without them! At RIDBC we have many departments and over 20 locations Australia wide where volunteers can utilise their skills and we try to work with our volunteers interests to find the best match possible.

RIDBC’s regular volunteer program is generally on a one day per week basis however this may vary depending on the type of work being undertaken. The opportunities to volunteer at RIDBC are mainly during week days (Monday to Friday) between 9am and 3pm and where possible we request that volunteers commit to a minimum of  one semester, or 6 months.

All volunteers participate in the volunteer recruitment process which involves an interview and reference checks to find the right match of skills and tasks, and to ensure a satisfying volunteer experience with us. Volunteers will also participate in a comprehensive induction and site orientation upon commencement. Volunteers may be required to complete a state equivalent "Working with Children Check" in accordance with Child Protection legislation, a Criminal Record Check and an online Child Protection Training depending on their volunteer role.

To express your interest in volunteering at RIDBC, please complete this online application.

As many of our services are breaking shortly for holidays, we are not looking at starting many volunteers until late January/early February 2020. I will be contacting you over the next few months to discuss what current volunteer opportunities we have will best suit your interests, talents and time limitations and when the start date would be.

For further information, or information on corporate volunteering, or work experience please contact Rochelle Pincini on 02 9872 0350 or at rochelle.pincini@ridbc.org.au
